However, 20 minutes later, the owner of the bike called again saying he had found it at a police officer’s house but her husband was not there.

She shared that the officer claimed he did not know who Shirima was and insisted the bike was his.

“The officer is called Rama, so my husband’s boss called another police officer and informed him where he found the boda boda, explaining what was happening. He asked us to visit the police station,” she stated.

The distressed woman explained that they left someone to watch over the officer’s gate in case he tried to get rid of the boda boda, but unfortunately, he was attacked by two other officers.

When they returned with police from the station, they did not find the boda boda, and Rama said he had no idea what they were talking about.

“Days later, I was told six police officers were arrested following the incident but my husband is nowhere to be seen,” she shared.

Shirima’s wife expressed her pain, saying the agony of not knowing where he is or what happened to him was too much.

She noted that she wants to see him dead or alive so she can be at peace, and called on the police officers to be proactive in finding Shirima.

“I am tired. I feel like they are derailing the case to shut us up. We are stressed as a family. It’s been more than 20 days, and we have yet to see my husband. The police, who are supposed to be protecting us, have turned out to be the ones harming us,” she said amid tears.

She added that her husband is the sole breadwinner of her family, and she wants to know if he is alive or not, so she can find peace and have closure.
