A video of a woman appearing heavily intoxicated while carrying a baby on her back has raised concern among social media users.

The clip, which has since gone viral, shows the woman dressed in a long black skirt, a red blouse, and a black sweater.
She had securely tied the baby to her back with a leso, ensuring he was in place even as she stumbled and fell to the ground.

At one point, the woman attempted to get up, almost tossing the baby to the ground.

She then sat on the ground muttering words in her vernacular as the person recording the video laughed in the background.
"Take as many photos as you want, do what you want, I do not care," she shouted.
A few voices in the background could be heard telling her to be careful, warning that she would fall and hurt her baby.
The baby, dressed in a blue beanie and romper, appeared to be kept warm against the cold night.
The woman eventually managed to get up and stagger away from the area, where loud music and voices could be heard in the background.

Netizens asked those who filmed the clip to find the woman and alert authorities emphasising that both the mother and baby needed help, support and not just criticism.

“Some children are just born unlucky. Hopefully, the people who took the video followed up to rescue the baby. I really feel sad for the innocent young child. Lakini wanawake hawafai kulewa, sasa ona. Hata kama ni biashara, mbona uuzie mtu ako na mtoto surely hadi alewe hivi? That money will never help you. I have asked the lady who posted this to try to get the contact details of this mama. The baby needs to be rescued ASAP.”
