“Reminds me of my daughters in December 13, 2019 literally touching the body of their mum as she lay in a casket in Homa Bay after succumbing to breast cancer. The youngest girl was in class one (seven years). Today, she is in Grade 7, tall and bubbly. I continue surviving with my title as a widower, a single parent, a Dad-Mum. Mungu awaonekanie hawa wasichana.”

Man mourns Kisumu accident victims
A man who attended the mass burial service of the accident victims penned a heartbreaking post on Facebook while mourning them.
He expressed his disbelief that the fatal accident occurred after a burial, adding that the crash was regrettable and the loss too much to bear for all affected families.
"Today was indeed a sad day. I watched in disbelief as 26 bodies were being ferried to Nyakach for burial, victims of a Coptic road accident. We are talking of individuals who last Saturday were alive and went to a funeral in Nyahera together. Today they went back home in coffins," he said.
