The sisters, whose heartbreaking video of them crying at their mother’s grave went viral, lost their mum in the Coptic Roundabout accident in Kisumu county.

They were seen pleading with her to respond to them one last time as they struggled to come to terms with the loss.
The emotional mass burial was held on Friday, August 15, where family and friends gathered to give the victims a befitting send-off.

"I am appealing for your help. We lost our father in 2021, and we lost our mum in a road accident. I have two sisters. I am in Grade 9, my youngest sister is in Grade 2, and the one after me is in Grade 7. We are now only left with our grandmother," she said.
Their grandmother, Pamela Achieng' Abok, echoed her granddaughter’s words as she also appealed for help.
"My name is Pamela Achieng' Abok. These are my grandkids. It’s only the four of us now, as you can see. If you can help me, please help me.
Their father died during the Corona period, and their mother had been taking care of them and meeting all their needs. Now she is gone too. I am the only one they have left, but I don’t have a job or any source of income to even keep them in school," she said.

A cloud of sorrow still hung over the family as the children struggled to come to terms with the loss.
They were too young to fully comprehend what had happened, but their faces showed a deep emptiness, a void that could not be filled.
They sat closely beside their grandmother, who was equally devastated and overwhelmed by the heavy responsibility before her.
Pamela looked tired and sorrowful as she made a heartfelt plea for well-wishers to support her grandchildren.

Kisumu woman weeps, rolls in hospital
In another tragic case, a young lady could not hold back her sorrow after losing her mother in an accident.
She was captured in a heartbreaking video rolling on the ground outside the emergency room of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH).
The woman was inconsolable as she wept bitterly while onlookers watched helplessly from a distance.
