She had purchased the Easter dress, which had several quotes imprinted all over it, without initially paying much attention to the details.

TikTok user Savannah said she had not taken time to read through the quotes until one day when her daughter was napping.

"Read your kids' clothes carefully," she encouraged parents in her TikTok video caption.

It had popping colours, predominantly pink and white, which blended well and made the dress look gorgeous.

"You can see it's just a cute Easter dress. It came with magic shorts. There are bunnies, eggs, jelly beans, and baby chicks. One day, when she was napping, I decided to take a peek and see what the quotes said," she explained.

What quotes were imprinted on Savannah's daughter's dress?

Savannah was surprised by some of the quotes she came across, as they raised more questions than answers.

They did not sit well with her, as she insinuated the quotes communicated more than what met the eye.

"‘Want to have an Easter egg hunt under the covers?’ ‘This coupon entitles you to one free peep show.’ ‘Let's pretend we're rabbits and do whatever comes naturally.’ One was hard to read, but it seemed to say, ‘My tulips want to be on your two lips.’ Another read, ‘I'll nibble your ears if you nibble mine.’ And the weirdest one was, ‘You've been the best husband and friend a girl could ever ask for,’" she recalled.

Netizens react to Savannah's daughter's dress

Many seemed familiar with the company that made such dresses, calling it out, while others shared similar shocking experiences.

Ashley Rambarran:

"I had bought a children’s top a few years ago, in 2019 I think. I'm petite, so it fit me, and I wore it as house clothing. I hadn’t really noticed the writing until about two years later. I threw it out because it was just disturbing."

KRESPOL0:

"It’s Easter. What else do people think Easter was about? In ancient times, Easter was about fertility, including forced acts on women and children. The 'hidden eggs' were young women and little girls, but people will deny it because real history has already been rewritten."

Nicholistic:

"How are y’all saying the tulips one is the worst? ‘Easter egg hunt under the covers’? ‘Free peep show’? ‘What rabbits do naturally’?? Excuse me??"
