Moses was three years old and was always left in the care of his living grandmother, and during the few times she was not around, the matronly woman would leave the baby in the care of her other children in the compound.

On the fateful day, Moses's grandmother went out and left him in the care of his aunt, Joyce. He was crying, and a neighbour popped in and asked Moses to go and play with his kids. He then asked Joyce to accompany her daughter to the river to wash clothes.

Moses went over to play, but while away, his uncles and aunties received urgent calls from home that the young one was dead. It emerged that when his people came home, the young one was nowhere to be seen, and that is when they found him in a drum.

What did the priest say during Moses's burial?

While preaching at the burial service of the boy, the priest asked the neighbours to live in forgiveness and love.

He also urged the mourners to love children, as that is what God wants.

"Whether it is your child or not, love that child, the innocence of that child will haunt you if you do anything bad to them. You may do something without knowing but the cry of a child is a prayer to God," he said.

When they went to the grave, the relatives of the child were inconsolable, but in the end he was laid to rest, and the difficult job of healing started.

In another story, a group of three little kids went to view the body of Moses and stayed there for some time, leaving people online and offline wondering what was on their minds.

Unlike some kids who are afraid of coffins and others who are not allowed to view dead bodies, the three bravely moved near the coffin and viewed their friend.

Many people speculated about their reason for staring at him like that and wished them to have peace during the difficult time.
