Margaret Anyango Oriema never thought that at her ripe old age, she would become a proud homeowner.

The 73-year-old was on the brink of tears as she happily moved into her brand-new, beautiful house.

Was Anyango's house furnished?

A source told TUKO.co.ke about further plans they had for the elderly lady, who was still in disbelief after receiving the gift.

"We are also going to get a water tank for her. The house was fully furnished," he happily shared.

It showed the poor state in which Anyango had been living before being gifted her brand-new home, which restored her dignity in society.

Her old house also contained rusty and broken household items, reflecting the sorrowful state of her life.

It was neither tidy nor neat, highlighting the abandoned life she had endured for years following her husband’s death.

Anyango was a member of a widows’ group that supported her after her husband’s death, ensuring some of her basic needs were met.

During a lovely housewarming ceremony, several guests attended the event to witness the amazing news.

They were all smiles as Anyango was gifted a fully furnished house, ready to start a new chapter in her life.

She was also gifted shopping items by the well-wishers as they held prayers in the new house, giving thanks to their Maker for making the project successful.
