Safety tips to avoid electrical accident in the shower
Details shared by GoodElectrician.com indicate that faulty wiring, damaged equipment, or a short circuit can cause electrical shocks in the bathroom, which can be fatal.
To prevent these kinds of accidents, the first step is to ensure that all the wiring and equipment, like shower overheads, are installed by a licensed electrician who knows the ins and outs of such installations.
Secondly, Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCIs) are important safety devices for bathrooms. They cut off electricity if there is a problem with the flow of current.
Thirdly, electrical sockets and appliances should be installed carefully in the bathroom to prevent electric shocks. It’s important to keep outlets a safe distance away from water sources.
