"Alienda Kwa Mumama": Nakuru Lady Says Husband Abandoned Family for Older Woman, Stopped Providing

Infidelity has become normal in today's society with its effects causing untold suffering in many families.

A lady called Jane Njeri has shared how her husband Joseph Njuguna of 12 years vanished from their home in Nakuru and moved in with a "mumama" (older woman with money).

Njeri met her husband in Naivasha after School and the two fell head over heels in love with each other.

The two lovebirds, dated for a few months and decided to legalise their union.

Her husband was an accountant in a Nakuru-based company while she was a housewife.

Njuguna was so caring and loving. The two were blessed with three children. Njeri said her husband started changing thereafter.

"He started coming home late and at times he did not return home and only gave excuses when I confronted him. I also noticed he smelt alcohol and for all the years we lived together he never took alcohol," she said.

The mother of three investigated and discovered her husband was involved with an older woman (mumama) who was even giving him money.

"I confronted him and he left the house and never came back. I discovered he had moved into the woman's house. He stopped providing. Life changed, you know I was just a housewife," she narrated.

It took the intervention of native doctor Mama Mweza to help Njeri win back her husband.

"Hali ilikuwa mbaya kabisa. So kuna beshte yangu who sympathised with us, even affording basic needs was a problem, she took me to Mama Mweza. Alisema huyo mama alisaidia dada yake bwana akarudi. So I decided to try. Immediately I visited Mweza, huyo Mumama alitupa Baba Mwangi nje (her husband Njuguna) he came begging and nowadays amekunja mkia."

Thanks to Mama Mweza, Njeri's marriage is flourishing again. They have moved to Gilgil from Nakuru Town.
