A 22-year-old fashion model and influencer has been hospitalised after sustaining stab wounds during an attack at her home in São Paulo, Brazil.

Luna Ambrozevicius was hosting an Instagram live stream when her boyfriend allegedly stabbed her nine times on various parts of her body, as her fans and followers watched in horror.
Why did Luna Ambrozevicius’ boyfriend attack her?
In her Instagram stories, Luna shared a statement revealing that the suspect, identified as Alex Oliveira, entered her home and assaulted her after she decided to end their relationship.
“He violently attacked her, stabbing her nine times—six on the back, once in the hand, once in the foot, and once on the ear,” the statement reads in part.
The statement confirmed that Luna was rescued and rushed to hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery. Her team noted that she is currently in a stable condition.
Luna also shared videos taken on 19 May, showing the aftermath of the attack. In the footage, she is seen crying in pain as blood pours from the wounds.
She showed her followers the injuries on her toes, hand, back, head, and foot—both before and after they were stitched and bandaged.
Was Luna’s attacker arrested?
According to the Daily Mail, police have launched an investigation into the incident and are currently searching for Oliveira, who fled the scene. If apprehended, Luna’s ex-boyfriend will face charges of domestic violence and attempted murder.
Neighbours told police the couple frequently argued at their residence.

What did Luna say after the attack?
The young mother of one expressed her gratitude to God for being alive and for being given a second chance at life, stating that she intends to make the most of it.
“It feels so good to be alive! Surviving 10 stab wounds wasn't just a miracle—it was a resurgence. In the midst of pain, fear, and uncertainty, I found strength in my little Serena. They were the worst hours of my life, but when she came to mind, I knew I needed to live for her,” she wrote on Instagram.
She also extended her gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and everyone who helped save her life.
“Special thanks to my neighbour Renato, who stopped the bleeding until the paramedics arrived, and to my aunt Marcela, who called an ambulance and picked up my daughter from school before anything could happen to her too,” she added.
Why is it hard to accept rejection in relationships?
Speaking to a counselling psychologist, TUKO.co.ke found that several factors determine how people react when they receive heartbreaking information.
She explained that some individuals grew up without positive role models, either from their parents or those who raised them.
“If someone grew up in an environment where disagreements or rejection were handled through fights or with a mindset that harming others is acceptable, then that becomes their default response. It takes counselling and therapy to unlearn some childhood habits and heal from trauma,” she stated.
The psychologist also mentioned mental illness and drug abuse as factors that may lead to violence in relationships, noting that drugs impair judgment and decision-making.
TikToker shot dead while on live stream
