When did Adam's betrayal occur?
In a candid revelation on TikTok, the man recalled how his life took a sharp turn in March 2019.
During a trip to his homeland, he decided to spend a night in the city where his then-fiancée lived, before continuing to his village the next day.
With the blessing of her parents, he took her to a hotel where they spent quality time catching up and discussing wedding plans.
She wanted the wedding sooner than he had planned, but there was no indication of anything amiss.
How Adam bought into fiancée's plan
As the evening wound down, she said her parents were waiting, and he offered to drop her off.
Since Adam couldn’t sleep alone in the room, he figured he might as well continue to the village.
That’s when she suggested a “smart” move: instead of returning the room key and letting the hotel staff potentially resell the room, he should simply lock it and leave.
“Let them think we're still in. No need for them to benefit,” she reasoned.
Why Adam returned to fiancée's hotel
Though he didn’t agree with her logic, he obliged, wanting to please her. But en route to the village, traffic brought him to a standstill.
On impulse, and still admiring her cunning, Adam decided to turn back and spend the night at the hotel after all.
What happened next shook him to his core.
After explaining at the front desk that he had mistakenly locked the key inside, the receptionist handed him a duplicate.
Adam caught his lover with other man
But the room was now mysteriously locked from the inside.
A staff member and security accompanied him to investigate, and when they knocked, a young man in his underwear cracked the door open, holding a receipt for the same room under his name.
“I pushed the door open and stormed in. The room looked empty, but the bathroom door was locked. I banged and banged until it opened… and there she was. My fiancée,” he recounted, voice still bitter from the memory.
Caught red-handed, she had no words, only tears. The man called her mother immediately.

Betrayal changed Adam's view of women
The shocked parent said her daughter had claimed she was spending the night with him to prepare for the wedding.
“That’s when everything collapsed,” he said, adding that since that night, he vowed never to trust a woman again.
