Fateful day Njambi was attacked
One day, while plucking tea for her client, the man waylaid and viciously attacked her with a machete.
“He cut me on both hands and one of my shoulders, after which I lost consciousness and didn’t hear most of what happened after,” she recalled.
For three weeks, Njambi stayed at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH), going through her painful recovery process while regretting the choice of man she gave her children.
Njambi is now back at her parents’ house, where she depends on her family for basic chores like drinking and eating.
What bothers her the most is that her attacker is in hiding and has never been arrested, which makes her worried for her safety.
