The man, identified as Clive, said the WhatsApp message left him devastated and confused as the lady asked for time alone.

“I have been dumped with a long paragraph seemingly written by an artificial intelligence (AI) tool. I feel water bubbling in my throat, I can’t settle or sit down, the earth feels like it’s rotating at a very fast pace,” Clive stated.

The heartbroken man also shared a screenshot of the text with his followers on X, sparking hilarious reactions.

The poetic message began with the lady reflecting on the ups and downs of their relationship, describing it as a stormy sea.

“Hey Clive, I've been staring at the same stormy sea we've been sailing, wave after crashing wave pulling us under. This toxic tide has left me washed up, drained to the bone, and I can't keep clinging to the wreckage,” she wrote.

She likened the endless back-and-forth of their relationship to a faulty lighthouse beam, saying it had exhausted her desire to keep loving him.

The woman explained that she needed to end the relationship and rebuild her life from within, seeking peace without Clive.

“Who knows? Maybe we'll cross paths again when the waters are still and we've both grown sails strong enough for the journey. Or perhaps I'll discover uncharted islands that feel like home. Either way, this is my anchor drop,” she wrote.

Clive’s now ex-girlfriend wished him well, encouraging him to embark on his own journey of self-discovery.
