In the early hours, she woke to the horrifying news that her car, something she had worked tirelessly to afford, had been deliberately set on fire by her estranged lover.

How Manna's car was set ablaze

The distressed woman lamented how disappointed she was that someone she trusted turned against her so violently.

It all started at 1 am when a man tried to break into her home, forcing her awake in fear. Though he left, the danger wasn’t over.

She knew things had gone wrong at around 4 am when police arrived with the grim news that her car had been destroyed.

While the vehicle represented years of hard work, Manna says the act of destruction went beyond material loss.

“A car can be replaced, but my safety, my peace, and my freedom cannot,” she said. Her message is one of resilience, not pity, an assertion that no act of intimidation can silence her.

Lessons Manna learned from abusive relationship

Images captured the juxtaposition between Manna's snow-white BMW and the charred wreckage in the aftermath of the incident.

The mother of one disclosed that behind closed doors, she endured emotional and psychological abuse for years, gaslighting, manipulation, and control, but she refused to stay silent any longer.

“Abuse is not love. Walking on eggshells every day is not love,” she shared.

Manna reiterated that she refused to let fear control her life, her story a reminder that the scars of abuse extend beyond physical harm and that standing up for oneself is an act of courage.

Masked men catch fire accidentally after burning car

In an unrelated story, chilling CCTV footage captured two masked men breaking into a compound at night and burning a parked car.

They doused the vehicle with a flammable liquid, believed to be petrol, before igniting a match and setting it ablaze.

In what appeared to be Karma intervening, both men were accidentally caught in the explosion and engulfed in flames.
