He also said that he laughs each time he sees him on TV complaining yet he was also doing the same to them when they embarked on demonstrations in 2023.

"One thing that I am so proud of in parliament as the minority leader and the biggest achievement was to remove your deputy. I have written that in the book. I did something very important. He was the one leading discrimination. He was saying they have shareholding, people should leave for Uganda, I think for us in Migori he placed us in Tanzania. When that motion came, I was collecting signatures at night, visiting parliamentarians asking them to add signatures so he can go home."

Junet also defended ODM working together and said the president was creating a broad-based government that encompasses all Kenyans.

How much Ruto offered Gachagua to resign

In a different report, Gachagua criticised Ruto's government and claimed he tried to give him money so he could resign.

According to the politician, the president was willing to give him KSh 2 billion, security and a good remuneration to vacate office.

He however noted that he refused to take the lucrative cash as it would have dented his profile and made him appear selfish.

Gachagua further alleged that the president told him that resigning would give him a sure way of vying for a political seat in the future.
