The Saboti lawmaker noted that coalitions of opposing ideologies have never resolved issues in any democratic country.
He warned that ODM might soon lose relevance if Raila does not cut political ties with Ruto's Kenya Kwanza administration.
"The ODM party must and should stop this broad-based nonsense with immediate effect. Coalitions of unlike mind have never solved issues in any democratic outfit before. Ruto is not foolish. Is ODM part of the Kenya Kwanza government?
In other developments, Eugene Wamalwa, leader of the Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-Kenya), dismissed Raila's claims about the ODM party’s involvement in Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza administration.
During a speech to a crowd in Bungoma on Saturday, April 26, Wamalwa criticised Raila for suggesting that he wasn’t part of the government.
The former Defence Cabinet secretary questioned why Raila continues to deny his government involvement, even after publicly signing an agreement with President Ruto.
According to Wamalwa, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the ODM leader clearly positions him at the core of Ruto’s administration.
The DAP-Kenya leader further accused Raila of underestimating the intelligence of Kenyans, pointing out that the public is fully aware of ODM’s key role in the government.
