Did Jalang'o and Ong'ondo Were share physiotherapist?
Leaders, most from the ODM Party, shared their condolences with the late parliamentarian's children and two wives on May 6.
Langata MP, Felix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang'o, shared how he built his friendship with the two-term MP.
He also recalled his conversation with the physiotherapist who had treated Were on the same day he was shot.
"When I had my accident, I started going for physio at the gym, and that is when we started to interact a lot. Long stories about our struggles. I have lost a very dear friend of mine. I always called him my gym partner. Then, when I got well, I started to miss the gym, and he kept on telling me, 'Come back, I have not seen you there'," he said.
Jalang'o also revealed that their physiotherapist had a session with Were on the same day that he was shot dead.
"We were just talking about how devastating it was. He had just treated Charles that evening, and maybe an hour later, the incident happened. I have not only lost a constituent but also a friend and a brother," he added.

What was Were's revelation before his death?
In a different report, the late parliamentarian's son, Boid Were, while addressing mourners at his father's home, recalled his last words about his killers.
He stated that more information would be shared during his father's burial and expressed hope for justice.
Boid also thanked Gladys Wanga, the Homa Bay governor, for the support she has given their family since their father's death.
He also recalled a conversation he had with his dad, who told him of the people who were after his life.
Four suspects linked to Were's murder arrested
Elsewhere, four suspects, namely, William Imoli, Juma Ali Haikai, Douglas Wachiri Wambugu, and David Kagame, were arrested in connection with Were's death.
The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) sought to detain the suspects for 30 days and to examine their mobile phones.
Meanwhile, police recovered a car and three motorbikes, which are alleged to have been used in the escape.
According to the police, some suspects are linked to a criminal gang in the Eastlands region of Nairobi.
Witnesses said two attackers on a motorcycle approached the lawmaker, with one of them getting off and shooting him at close range, fatally wounding him.
