John Mbadi Donates KSh 1.5m to Eldoret Boda Boda, Hustlers During Sudi's Event

Uasin Gishu: National Treasury Cabinet secretary John Mbadi has left Kenyans stunned after making a hefty donation at the Kapseret Constituency Economic Empowerment.

How much did Mbadi donate?
While speaking on Friday, June 6, Mbadi promised to give a staggering KSh 1.5 million towards the empowerment initiative meant to assist boda boda riders and hustlers in Eldoret.
He further lauded Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi for initiating the programme, terming it a remarkable move.

"I want to say that I am together with my brother Oscar Sudi. Ninataka kusema hongera. I want to congratulate you, you have done a wonderful job. Thank you so much, people of Kapseret. Will you welcome me when I come again?" he asked.
"I am also promising to give something. I can't just come to this place empty-handed. I will give my brother my contribution. I have KSh 1.5 million for these people here,"he added.
He stated that when he was invited by Sudi to the event, he thought it would be a simple event meant to help a few people, but upon getting there, he was surprised.
Mbadi said that the event was more than what he had anticipated, thus lauding Sudi for his great job.
"This is a high-level event that needs brains. My brother Oscar Sudi has scored an A+. There is no dispute about that. Now that you have found a good leader like this one you must take care of him. This is because if you lose this leader, it might take you approximately 100 years to get another one like him," he added.

Additionally, Mbadi asked Kapseret residents to re-elect Sudi in the upcoming 2027 General Election if he vies.
Mbadi also took the chance to call out former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua and other members of the opposition over constant criticism of the Kenya Kwanza government.
Why couldn't Ruto transform Kenya in two years?
At the same event, Mbadi seemingly asked Kenyans to be patient with President William Ruto's government as it works to deliver its promises to Kenyans
He further called out critics of the government, stating that Ruto couldn't turn Kenya into London or Beijing within two years.

The CS cited the poor state of the economy when Ruto took office as the reason he was unable to transform the country fast enough.
Additionally, Mbadi praised Ruto's regime, stating that it has delivered one of the most important things: a constant food supply.
