That the Kenyan economy solely depends on the exclusive intentionality and goodwill of his ethnic extraction.
Confidently speaking about the innate abilities of people from his community, Gachagua observed that their apparent nature of being self-driven is unique and cannot be matched elsewhere.
"This is a community that is responsible for the growth of the Kenyan economy. And that is why you are successful here because that's the way we were born. We are very aggressive people, we are very entreprising, we are very outgoing. And that is why we are in every town in Kenya," he said.

Why Kenya's economy is performing dismally - Gachagua
He said this on Saturday, July 19, in Boston, where he spoke to the diaspora business fraternity whose members are largely drawn from the Kikuyu community.
Gachagua warned that any affront to his community risks the Kenyan economy limping to a basket case because the investors from Mt Kenya will retaliate by not ploughing money back.
In fact, they are doing it now, Gachagua said, adding that they were holding their money back, waiting for Ruto's regime to exit before they can invest in the country again.
"And above all, I also want to tell you that our community is under siege at home. And when you destroy this community, you destroy Kenya. We are the drivers of the Kenyan economy. Since William Ruto declared war on the mountain, the economy is almost collapsing. Because people have stopped paying taxes, people have stopped investing, they are waiting for a new government," he claimed.
He further observed that his community accounts for a huge chunk of diasporians in the United States, citing their apparent disruptive nature and ability to establish control.
"I have done some checks, 80% of the diaspora brigade in the United States are people from the mountain. Because that is where we are. We are very aggressive people. We are very organised people. We are very hardworking, we are very focused. So, I want to ask you, you have a lot of influence back at home," he said.
The interests of Mt Kenya people have always remained central in the undertakings of Gachagua, who currently regards himself as the region's go-to leader.

Is Ruto going after Mt Kenya people?
Gachagua recently claimed that the violence in the recent rounds of protests was procured by the state to punish the Mt Kenya business community.
It has always been his belief, or paranoia, that the current president is out to persecute Mt Kenya residents.
Part of President William Ruto's machinations against the Mt Kenya community, according to Gachagua, is the alleged plan to free illicit alcohol in Mt Kenya to destroy the youth, going after politicians from the region deemed to be against the current regime, and, latest, sending supposed state-sponsored militias to attack and destroy businesses owned by members of the foregoing community.
But Ruto told Gachagua off over that narrative.
How Ruto reacted to Gachagua's lamentation
He strongly criticised Gachagua for promoting baseless claims aimed at turning public opinion against the government.
The president called on his former deputy present any credible information about those responsible for the recent violence and property destruction during protests to the appropriate authorities for lawful remedy.
Ruto rebuked the DCP party leader for exploiting the distress of Mt Kenya entrepreneurs to gain political traction.
The president noted that Gachagua had crossed the line by politicising the pain of victims affected by unrest in an effort to undermine the current administration
