In his latest moves, Kalonzo has appointed the former National Youth chairman of the Kenya African National Union (KANU), Charles Lemein, as the WPF's coordinator of special programmes.
What did Charles Lemein say about his new position?
Speaking exclusively to TUKO.co.ke, Lemein said he was happy to be part of the party poised to form the next government.

Lemein expressed confidence that Kalonzo will liberate the country from President William Ruto's administration in 2027.
"It's an honour to be part of the team and party that is going to form the next government. It has always been my desire to serve the interests of the special interest groups, and I am glad to head that in Wiper. With these, through our party leader, we will strive to liberate our country in the 2027 elections," Lemein said.
In his new role, the youthful leader disclosed that he would roll out several activities targeting young people, women, PWDs and minorities.
According to Lemein, the activities will aim to empower the group to realise the power and importance of voting for accountable and people-centred leaders in the upcoming election.
"We are going to roll out activities for the young people, women, PWDs and minorities that will awaken them towards the realisation of their power to vote for accountable, people-centred and transparent leadership, which forms our mission as a part and as a beacon of democracy," he said.

Will Raila Odinga support Kalonzo in 2027?
In other news, ODM leader Raila Odinga hinted at supporting the Wiper leader in the upcoming presidential race.
During an interview on NTV on Sunday, July 20, Raila stated he was still a friend of the former vice president despite working with Ruto.
Asked about supporting Kalonzo, the veteran opposition leader disclosed that the Wiper leader is yet to seek his support ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Who will the opposition's presidential candidate be in 2027?
In other developments, former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua dismissed claims that the opposition had agreed on a lineup to face Ruto in 2027.
A document had leaked indicating that Gachagua would be the prime cabinet secretary if the opposition wins the next poll.
According to the document, Kalonzo would be the opposition's presidential candidate, deputised by former Interior Cabinet secretary Fred Matiang'i.
However, speaking in the United States of America, the former deputy president termed the leak as fake.
