Mwangaza said UMP will focus on three key pillars, which centre on upholding the Constitution, protecting vulnerable populations, and fighting corruption in leadership.
She stated that her new party will fight for the leadership of the country to end corruption and bring meaningful development to the people at the grassroots.
“We must respect the Constitution and create a nation where no one is victimised, especially our women and people living with disabilities. The time has come to end corruption in politics and focus on meaningful development.
“UMP is the party for the ordinary Kenyan the hustler who wants change but lacks resources. We will amplify their voice,” Mwangaza declared.

"So Hon. Kawira Mwangaza acquires a political party and appoints family members screaming headlines, really? Out of over 100 political parties in Kenya, half are family affairs, quarter are living-room creations, and the rest are glorified WhatsApp groups. Nation Editorial Team, pull up your socks this isn’t Watergate; it’s just Kenyan politics in its natural habitat. Next time, report real news, not recycled shock for the easily startled."
