"Each group had 10 members with a chairperson who delivered the projects for an orderly process. That’s 11,000 people in total," Mohamed said.

While expressing his frustrations, he seemingly stated that two individuals cannot be used to claim that the head of state failed to fulfil his promises.

"...Their curious formula: 2 voices outweigh 11,000 recipients, and that equals 'unfulfilled promises.' Unbelievable! But here’s the silver lining: 11,000 more people now know exactly how stories can be twisted," he added.

This statement came hours after two young men, Dickens Odhiambo and Collins Otwalo, who were among the youth who attended Ruto's event, claimed they never received boda bodas.

Speaking on Friday, August 16, Odhiambo said that he posed for a picture with one motorbike only for him to be told that it would be delivered to him at his residence.

He said that since then, he has never received a motorbike, which led him to question the head of state's promise.

He argued that he was scared that keeping quiet could lead to his death, thus chose to let Kenyans know.
