Rigathi Gachagua Says He Didn't Spend Coin in His US Tour: "Kenyans Planned for Everything"

Former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua now says his six-week stay in the United States was funded by his magnanimous supporters.

He noted that his tour was made a success by the Kenyan diasporians who shouldered the responsibility for his well-being while there.

From food to clothing, and even his transport from one state to the other.

Gachagua met his supporters in seven states.

He said he spent nothing, thanking his followers for taking it upon themselves to ensure he is comfortable and well-taken care of.

"Kenyans in America are the ones who planned everything for me, car to use, food. I went to search for our people to tell them what was happening here in Kenya. They wanted to know what was happening from a truthful man. I told Kenyans in US that back here we have alot of problems and they remember their families with hospital bills. Food and education as things are tough. I took time to look for our cousins because even if our community is big we can't do it on our own," he said.
