Man United to Enzo Kana-Biyik?

According to French outlet L'Equipe, Man United are prepared to complete Enzo Kana-Biyik's signing. Kana-Biyik, son of former Cameroon star André Kana-Biyik, has yet to play for Le Havre's first team.

The report adds that Le Havre is still in talks to keep him, but he is close to joining the Premier League club.

According to Le Parisien, if Man United sign the striker, he will be loaned out to Lausanne in Switzerland, a club owned by Ineos, who also own Man United for one season.

He will get some game time with the senior side before returning to Old Trafford.

Who is Enzo Kana-Biyik?

Kana-Biyik was born in France and holds the country's citizenship, but has Cameroonian roots through his father, who played for the Indomitable Lions.

His father, Andre Kana-Biyik, played for Le Havre in the 1990s and represented Cameroon at the 1990 World Cup. They took down Diego Maradona's Argentina in the tournament.

Enzo has made 14 appearances for Le Havre's under-19 side and scored nine goals, per 90min. The teenager could be seen as a long-term solution to their striker's problem.

It is unclear what will happen to 17-year-old Chido Obi, who recently joined the club from Arsenal.

Moreover, the club has been linked with a swap deal involving Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins and Napoli star Victor Osimhen.

"I just want to focus on our strengths and bring one or two players, big players," Man United boss Ruben Amorim told reporters.
"We need to focus, we are doing all the stuff to be next season so much better. In my idea, I cannot manage this thing of ‘in four years we will try something’. We need to be so much better. This is a massive club."

Man United have scored just 38 goals in the Premier League this season, and they're looking to improve their attack.
