With just four matches left in the season, the Blues sit fifth in the table with 60 points, 22 points behind league leaders Liverpool, who have already been crowned Premier League champions.
The Blues secured a dominant 4-1 victory over Sweden-based Djurgarden FC in the first leg of their UEFA Conference League semi-final on Thursday.
Former Manchester United star Jadon Sancho gave the visitors an early lead in the 12th minute, before teammate Noni Madueke doubled the score just before the halftime whistle.

In the second half, the London giants resumed in full force, with forward Nicolas Jackson scoring the third goal in the 56th minute and adding a fourth in the 65th.
The hosts managed to pull one back in the 68th minute.
Under Enzo Maresca, they easily beat Copenhagen in the round of 16 and then defeated Legia Warsaw in the quarterfinals.
Maresca was delighted with the win in Sweden but warned his side to finish the job at Stamford Bridge next week.
Enzo Maresca's thoughts on Djurgårdens
Now, only Djurgårdens stand in their way of reaching the final in Wrocław, Poland.
"First of all, I’m very happy with the result and the performance. It’s the semi-final of a European competition, so it’s very important," said Maresca.
"Again, we planned the game in one way in the beginning and to finish in a different way. I think the performance for one hour or 70 minutes was a good performance, but then we dropped a bit in the final 15 minutes. That was probably because we were 3-0 or 4-0 ahead. That showed that we cannot allow ourselves to drop because it’s always complicated."
So that was a good experience and for sure in the next leg at home we need to finish the job and hopefully we can reach the final.
How much will Chelsea get if they win UEFA Conference League?
Chelsea could earn millions if they win the UEFA Conference League.
The Blues started the new format of the tournament in great form, winning all six of their league phase matches.
Winning any European tournament comes with more than just a trophy—there's a significant financial reward.
If Enzo Maresca and his Chelsea squad lift the UEFA Conference League title, they stand to earn a substantial amount in prize money.
As reported by Football. London, UEFA has announced that a total of €3.317 billion (approximately KSh 471.6 billion) will be shared among clubs participating in European competitions this season.
Of this amount, about €285 million (around KSh 40.5 billion) is allocated to teams in the UEFA Conference League.
So far, Chelsea has earned around €7 million (approximately KSh 1 billion) for reaching the semi-finals.
If they win the tournament, their prize money could double to about €14 million (around KSh 2 billion).

Has Chelsea ever won the Europa Conference League?
The Blues' trophy cabinet is loaded. According to the Chelsea website, the club has lifted the UEFA Europa League trophy twice—first in 2013 and again in 2019.
