Garnacho has been asked to find another club, with Amorim making it clear the Argentine won't be part of his plans going forward.
David Ornstein reports that Amorim communicated to his players his intention to continue at the club despite the heartbreaking Europa League final loss.
Which other player is Amorim unhappy with?
Apart from Garnacho, Amorim is said not to be impressed with Rasmus Hojlund, who has struggled to make an impact this season.
GMS reports that Amorim has told Manchester United's leadership that he cannot have Hojlund alone as his striking options. Joshua Zirkzee is the other option, but the Dutchman plays better off as a secondary striker.
The report further states that Amorim is 'very surprised' by Hojlund's quality given the millions of shillings he cost the club. United could also be willing to allow the Dane to leave on loan, as it is highly unlikely anyone will pay the £72 million they paid to Atalanta to secure his services.
Rasmus Hojlund's stats this season
Despite being one of the most promising strikers in Europe at that time, Hojlund has failed to live up to the expectations as United struggle in front of the goal. Only the three relegated teams and Everton have scored fewer goals than the Red Devils this season.
Hojlund has only 10 goals in 51 appearances this season. He came close to equalising in the Europa League final, only to be denied by an acrobatic goal-line clearance from Micky van de Ven.

Which striker can Manchester United sign to replace Hojlund?
The lack of European football next season will severely impact Manchester United's chances to attract players, but Amorim's top priority target could be Viktor Gyokeres.
Amorim worked with Gyokeres at Sporting Lisbon, with the Swede posting staggering numbers this campaign. Other options include Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Sesko and Ipswich Town's Liam Delap.
Manchester United seal Matheus Cunha deal
The club has already wrapped up a deal for Matheus Cunha, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
United will pay in excess of £62.5m to sign the Brazilian in a deal that will keep him at Old Trafford until June 2030. Cunha is, however, not an out-and-out striker and will need a target man to play off.
Why has Garnacho been told to leave Manchester United?
The head coach also informed Garnacho to leave with his actions before and after the Europa League final, seemingly angering Amorim.
The Argentine winger was far from happy after he started the final in Bilbao on the bench. He took to Instagram stories where he posted a throwback photo of himself scoring and celebrating in the FA Cup final last season.
Amorim elected to start with Mason Mount, with Garnacho only getting 19 minutes of the action. After the game, the 20-year-old made it clear he was surprised by the decision.
"Our season was (expletive). We don’t beat anyone in the league. I've played every round until I reached the final, but I only played 20 minutes today. I'll enjoy the summer, and then we'll see," he said after the game.
His brother/agent didn't make things any better as he blasted Amorim's starting XI.
"Working as no one else, helping every round, coming from two goals in the last two finals, just to be on the pitch for 19 minutes and get thrown under the bus. Wow hahahahahaha."
UEFA statement on Europa League medals
In a separate report, UEFA released a statement explaining why there were not enough medals.
Three players, including captain Son Heung-min, lifted the trophies without medals, but UEFA said they received them in the dressing room
The winning team gets 50 gold medals while the losing team gets 50 silver medals.
