Trump confirmed last week that he will attend the game at the MetLife Stadium when Chelsea face Paris Saint-Germain.
Chelsea reached the final after seeing off Benfica, Palmeiras and Fluminense in the knockout rounds, while PSG were ruthless, thrashing Inter Miami, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
FIFA president Gianni Infantino has formed a friendship with Trump and recently opened FIFA offices at the Trump Tower in New York.
"FIFA, a global organisation, to be global, you have to be local, you have to be everywhere, so we have to be in New York. Not just for the FIFA Club World Cup this year and the FIFA World Cup next year – we have to be in New York as well, when it comes to where our offices are based. Thank you, Eric [Trump], thank you to everyone. Thanks, of course, to President Trump as well," said Infantino as quoted by the Guardian.
The American president has no known affiliations to football but has promised to take a front-foot approach in this year's competition and next year's World Cup.
Trump is more fond of UFC events and attended the UFC 316 event just last month at the Prudential Centre in New Jersey.
How much will it cost for Trump to attend Club World Cup final?
An estimate of how much it cost the American taxpayers for Trump to attend the UFC events has provided a picture of how much it will cost for him to grace the Club World Cup final.
As arguably the most protected man on Earth, Trump moves with a huge contingent of Secret Service agents.
The Prudential Centre, where Trump was last month, is approximately 15 kilometres from the MetLife Stadium.
The Daily Mail reports that the American government paid around $224,212 in 2019 for hotel rooms for Trump to attend a UFC event in New York.
A further $22,005 was spent on travel costs for the agents, while $6,350 was used to erect security checkpoints.
In total, that trip cost around $252,567 (KSh 32.4 million), and Sunday's trip is expected to cost more or less the same.

In a meeting with Infantino earlier this year, Trump set up a task force for both competitions, vowing to attend a game.
"I would like to go to, certainly, more than one. We’ll be making the rounds; it’s a period of a month, and it’s top-of-the-line. It’s one of the great events anywhere in the world. I love what you said, ‘(it’s) like three Super Bowls a day for a month’, that’s what it is," as quoted on FIFA Inside.
FIFA Club World Cup halftime show
The final will also have a halftime show for the first time, almost something similar to what we usually see in the Super Bowl.
A star-studded lineup of J Balvin, Doja Cat, Tems, and Emmanuel Kelly will entertain the fans at halftime.
"I think the message that’s really important for me to drive across is just loving yourself, loving who you are, embracing the person that you are," said Kelly, as captured on FIFA's website.
“Music, film, television, and sport are universal languages. And out of those sports, FIFA – football, soccer, whatever you want to call it — is probably the one that speaks every single language in the world. And it brings people together."
