The foundation, which is under the patronage of the Interior Ministry Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo, has been rolling out the programs under 'Sports Mashinani'.
Sports Mashinani Initiative
Two teams in Kibra, Kibra TVC and Fort FC, were the latest beneficiaries of the initiative after they received kits, balls, gloves and nets from the foundation.
Michael Odari, the representative of the foundation, said the foundation wanted to help youth shun violence by embracing and working on their talents.
"Raymond Omollo is doing this so that he can bring youths together. I am asking other leaders to follow this trend. Instead of giving the youth 500 and weapons to fight each other, they can support their talents."

Fort FC was established to help the youth fight against crime
"We only started the team recently to give the youth an alternative way of thinking and a different life away from crime. We are still setting up, but we are thinking about joining the FKF Leagues from the sub-county level on our way up," said Clinton Otieno, the captain of Fort FC.
The players expressed their intention of playing in Kenya's top-flight league.
"We are grateful for the support so far, and we are asking him to continue helping us wherever he can. Our team needs a lot of support from bibs, jerseys, to boots. We are very talented here; we only lack the support to achieve our goals. Our aim is to one day play for Kenya's top clubs like Gor Mahia, Tusker or Kenya Police," said Paul Ochieng.

"As the Patron, I commend the players, technical bench and management for their commitment to excellence. I also thank the fans, the twelfth player, whose passion, loyalty and voice from the stands and screens lifted the team all the way to the top!"
Unsung hero behind Kenya Police FC's successful season
In a related report, TUKO.co.ke interviewed George Maelo, Kenya Police's team manager, who lifted the lid on their history-making season.
Maelo came back in November 2024 when the law enforcers were rooted in the relegation places.
The club hired a new coach and, months later, were able to break Gor Mahia's and Tusker's dominance.
