“I really like to be in the group that is healthy. We are going to suffer, we have problems, but that feeling of bonding from everybody, from the staff, from the players, with the technical staff, is really important. I think it can help us to win some games that we are not performing so well, but something happened because the spirit is positive," he said.

Most fans felt that Amorim was preparing them for another tough season. He mentioned 'suffering' repeatedly throughout the last campaign.

How did Ruben Amorim perform last season?

So far, he has managed 42 matches and won 17. He has won just seven Premier League matches, five of them in 2025.

Next season, he will be under pressure, with matches against Arsenal, Manchester City, and Chelsea in the first five games.
