They spent £269 million (KSh 46 billion) so far, the most in the Premier League, followed by Chelsea and Arsenal.

Arne Slot led his team to a 10-point Premier League victory last season, and they’re looking like the team to beat again. However, Arsenal and Manchester City have also strengthened their squads.

Which players have Liverpool signed?

The 20-time English champions have signed Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen, Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt, and Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth

What new tactic are Liverpool testing?

Liverpool reporter Lewis Steele shared a video showing Wataru Endo taking a long throw at the Japanese FA YUME field training ground.

Endo took the long throw as Liverpool players positioned themselves to attack. The Reds are likely to use it as a new weapon next season, similar to how Arsenal has exploited corner kicks.

Ibrahim Konate and Virgil Van Dijk stand at least six feet tall, making long throws a potential new weapon for Liverpool.

Stoke City famously used the long throw to great effect when they were promoted to the Premier League.

Rory Delap became well-known for his long throws, which played a key role in helping Stoke survive.
