"I use the word conviction and that's the first thing that I noticed when I spoke to him," Arteta in a press conference in Hong Kong. Why did Viktor Gyokeres choose Arsenal?

The former Sporting CP player was strongly linked with a reunion with his former coach, Ruben Amorim, at Manchester United, but ultimately chose the Gunners.

“I just felt that it was the right club for me,” Gyokeres said. “What I heard from Mikel and Andrea when I was speaking with them, and just what I've seen in the past years, how they've been playing football.

Ronaldo played for Sporting CP before moving to Man United, where he made a name for himself and became an icon in football. He was recently asked about Gyokeres' departure from the club.
