Ronaldo, 40 and Rodriguez, 31, have been together since 2017, when the veteran footballer was still at Real Madrid.

The 40-year-old moved to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia in 2023 following a fallout with then Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag.

In June, the Portugal icon signed a two-year deal to remain at the club.

When was Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez's engagement?

On Monday, Rodriguez shared a photo on Instagram of her hand resting on top of Ronaldo's with a flashy oval-shaped diamond ring.

"Yes I do. In this and in all my lives," she wrote in a translated caption.

The couple went public with their relationship in 2017 and are parents to five children: eight-year-old twins Eva Maria and Mateo, seven-year-old Alana, three-year-old Bella, and Cristiano Jr., 15, whom Ronaldo fathered in a previous relationship.

The pair made their first official appearance together at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Zurich in January 2017.

"Every couple wants to get married and I would love to personally," Rodriguez said to Spanish magazine Hola! via MEN in 2019. "Right now we have priorities and a lot of responsibilities, although in the future it would be marvellous to become Cristiano's wife."

Rodriguez's Instagram post has amassed 12.4 million likes, over 250,000 comments, and 2.1 million shares.

When did Ronaldo and Georgina meet?

The pair first met in 2016 and have been together ever since. They detailed their early years of dating in the Netflix series I am Georgina.

When Ronaldo met the then-Gucci store assistant, he thought she was a "very interesting girl, so much more mature for her age."

"Many times he'd come after work," Rodriguez recalled. "He would come, I remember once, in a Bugatti. My coworkers went crazy. They get there on the bus, and I would leave in a Bugatti. I mean, people couldn't believe it."
