Arsenal enter the new season as one of the favourites to win the Premier League, following three consecutive second-place finishes.

The arrivals of Viktor Gyökeres and Martin Zubimendi have sparked plenty of optimism among Gunners fans.
However, the North London club has a poor record at Old Trafford, winning just two of their last 18 Premier League matches there.
"They will be different as well. The manager will have more time with them, they have a pre-season, they make some really good signings as well, like anybody else. I think they strengthened and they will be better than last year, like the rest of the teams," Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said on his press conference.
On the other hand, Man United are under pressure to deliver a stronger campaign following their 15th-place finish in the 2024/25 season, their worst in 51 years.
A defeat would put Ruben Amorim under immediate pressure, especially with Manchester City and Chelsea to come in their first five games. The last time they defeated Arsenal was in 2022.

Man United will be without Lisandro Martinez and Noussair Mazraoui, while Andre Onana is doubtful. Arsenal will be without Gabriel Jesus, while Leandro Trossard is a doubt.
