Tickets for Harambee Stars' quarter-final clash against Madagascar were set to go on sale at noon, and it was claimed they were sold out as the site crashed.

Kenyans voiced their frustrations after they couldn't get their tickets for the mouth-watering clash

Mookh has now issued an official statement explaining what happened and the steps they are taking to resolve the issue.

"We know how important it is for you to have a fair chance at getting tickets, and we’ve heard your frustration loud and clear, the Statement shared on Instagram read.

"When sales opened at 12pm, our system was overwhelmed by automated bots, preventing genuine fans from securing tickets as intended. Our team is actively working to stop this so that tickets go to fans — not bots."

Tickets were also set to go live at 1 pm, but it was not accessible. A source told TUKO.co.ke that they were getting 4,000 per minute.

Tickets for Kenya's clash against Zambia were capped at 27,000, but Harambee Stars' brilliant performances have attracted even more fans.

Kenya have won three matches and drawn four in CHAN 2024 so far.
