How did Kenya vs Madagascar first half unfold?
In the third minute, Abud Omar's deflected free-kick was heading towards goal, but Madagascar's in-form goalkeeper managed to push it away for a corner.

Harambee Stars goalkeeper Byrne Omondi was forced to clear a loose ball in the box as an opposing player lunged for it.
Kenya dominated the game, pushing the islanders back, but they were still threatened by counterattacks in the early stages.
Boniface Muchiri delivered a delightful cross in the 26th minute, but Ryan Ogam, Kenya's hero against Morocco and Zambia, was just a step too far to reach it.
At the half-hour mark, Kenya came close after some beautiful link-up play, but Ogam couldn't find the space to take a shot.
Benni McCarthy's team continued to create opportunities throughout the first half, but the final pass was lacking.

In the second half, Kenya started strongly and soon opened the scoring in the 48th minute, with Alphonse Omija heading in Boniface Muchiri's free-kick.
Ryan Ogam thought he had doubled the lead in the 51st minute, but the goal was disallowed due to a foul in the build-up.
Madagascar grew into the game in the second half, threatening Kenya, who had been on top since the break."
In the 69th minute, Fenohasina Razafimaro converted a penalty to equalise after Lewis Bandi handled the ball in the box. Kenya came close late in the game, but lacked the composure to finish.
The sides were forced to settle for a draw and had to decide the winner in extra time.
It was an end-to-end affair during the first half of extra time, with neither team creating clear-cut opportunities. However, in the 97th minute, Byrne Omondi made a brilliant stop to deny Madagascar the lead, who created a good chance from a corner.
In the 105th minute, there was a goalmouth scramble in Madagascar's box, but it was cleared off the line. The Barea immediately launched a counterattack but failed to capitalise.
The game stretched in the second half of extra time, with both sides creating good chances but failing to convert them. The entertaining clash ended 1-1 after extra time.
Madagascar won 4-3 on penalties after Alphonce Omija missed his penalty. Kenya's fairytale journey at the tournament ends in heart break.
