Kseniya Alexandrova, a former Miss Universe Russia 2017, died after sustaining serious injuries in a tragic car crash in July. She was aged 30.

According to Rossiykaya Gazeta, Kseniya was involved in a horrific car accident in the Tver region, Russia, when a car she was travelling in collided with a moose which ran onto the road.

Kseniya's husband, Ilya, who was behind the wheels, survived the accident, but the model's brain was severely injured because she was in the passenger seat.
The model had been hospitalised since July and had been fighting for her life in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a Russian hospital, but she never recovered.
The model, psychologist and influencer died barely five months after her wedding.
Speaking to Rossiykaya Gazetaa, the heartbroken husband recalled what transpired.
"From the moment it jumped out to the impact, a split second passed. I didn't have time to do anything. The moose flew into the car -the blow hit Kseniya in the head. She was unconscious, her head was broken, and everything was covered in blood. The frontal bones of the skull were broken," he said.
The heartbroken husband revealed that the beauty queen regained consciousness while still in the hospital, but later, her condition worsened.
"One day, she suddenly went back into a coma. They diagnosed meningitis, which turned into more severe inflammatory diseases of the brain. They were able to restart the heart once, but the next day, Ksyusha died. Doctors were unable to restart the heart again," Kseniya's husband shared.
