The couple got candid about their marriage during the IMO podcast, co-hosted by Michelle and her brother Craig Robinson.
The episode, which was released on Wednesday, July 16, marked the first time the power couple has addressed their divorce rumours together.
Are the Obamas getting a divorce?
The suspicions about their split got stronger earlier this year when Michelle didn't show up to important events like Donald Trump's second inauguration and former president Jimmy Carter's burial.

According to E News, their marriage was a subject for debate online, and some thought that her absence meant that her marriage was in trouble.
Barack's vague comments in April about being in a "deep deficit" with his wife and Michelle's thoughts on being an empty nester and embracing independence only made things worse.
During the podcast, the couple tackled the rumours with Michelle's brother cheekily asking whether the two liked each other as they walked into the room all lovey-dovey.
Michelle laughed and referred to the rumour mill that had been going round, and her husband joined in on the banter, saying that 'she took him back.'
The mother of two affirmed that their marriage is intact, and although they have had really hard times, she has never thought about breaking up with Barack.

The pair, who have been married since 1992 and have two daughters, Malia and Sasha, used the podcast to talk about their life together and how hard it is to live in the public eye all the time.
