Who was Malcolm-Jamal Warner?

Warner rose to fame as a teen for his role as Theo, the only son in the Huxtable family, on the hit 1980s sitcom The Cosby Show.

The show quickly gained popularity, with Warner emerging as one of its standout talents.

In the years that followed, he largely stayed out of the limelight, though he made occasional appearances.

In 2015, Warner voiced his disappointment over the controversy that arose from serious sexual misconduct allegations involving Bill Cosby, saying it tarnished the legacy the popular show boasted of.

Outside of television, Warner also found stardom in the music industry.

He won an award in 2015 for his hit song Jesus Children in the Best Traditional R&B Performance category.
