A video from the ceremony has gone viral, capturing the hilarious moment when the officiating preacher offered Davido some words of wisdom as he embarked on his marriage journey.

The man of God acknowledged the singer’s celebrity status and popularity among women, reminding him to stay committed to his new bride.

"Davido, I remembered last year one of your songs you said 'I am unavailable.' I know there are many women in your band, they will continue to post your pictures, even today, some will sleep with your picture under their pillows, please tell them I am not available," he said, sparking laughter from the couple and their guests.

The amusing moment quickly went viral, with fans joining in the banter.

Interestingly, it has since emerged that the same preacher also officiated the wedding of Davido’s parents years ago.
