The two quickly rose to fame by building the 'world's first Land Cruiser Chinook in 100 days.'

The custom vehicle is a mix of a Toyota Chinook camper and a Toyota Land Cruiser, which makes it easier for a camper to go off-road.

It is not clear if they were driving the Land Cruiser when the crash that killed them happened.

According to CBC, they lost control of the vehicle on the rocky route, and it has yet to be established whether they were filming when the accident occurred.

The two were fond of sharing content from their previous off-roading trips.

According to the rescue team, one was found dead on the spot, and the other was rushed to the hospital, where they later succumbed to the injuries.
