Known for her striking personality, vibrant social media presence, and passion for fashion, Ariiela built a loyal following of more than 550,000 Instagram followers, where she regularly showcased her modelling work and glamorous lifestyle.

On Sunday, August 17, her death was confirmed by Ikon New York, a well-known restaurant and nightclub where she reportedly worked.

Although the restaurant did not disclose the cause of death, it suspended its newly launched operating hours out of respect and announced that the doors would remain closed until Thursday, August 21, to honour her memory.

Ikon New York described Ariiela as more than just an employee, calling her a beloved figure who had become family to the team. They remembered her for her constant support, her ability to uplift those around her, and the love she extended to colleagues and patrons alike.

What did Tekashi say about Ariiela La Langosta?

Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, who shared a close bond with Ariiela, honoured her through a series of Instagram stories shortly after the news of her passing broke.

He posted personal videos of their time together, calling her a “tremendous woman” and referring to her as the “queen of New York.”

The rapper also included a snippet of their favourite song, Obsesión by Aventura, writing that the city would never feel the same without her.
