A fake Justin Bieber has been banned from a nightclub in Las Vegas after tricking both the venue's DJ and staff into believing he was the real pop star.

How did fake Justin Bieber access stage?

The lookalike's audacious stunt took place over the weekend, with the impersonator fooling not only DJ Gryffin but also a crowd of eager fans.

The incident happened after the impersonator was granted access to the exclusive DJ booth at XS Nightclub.

According to Gryffin, the impersonator's team approached him and claimed that Bieber wanted to perform as a surprise guest.

Starstruck and excited by the opportunity, Gryffin agreed and allowed the man to take the stage.

The impersonator then performed Bieber's hit song Sorry, much to the crowd’s delight.

For a solid four minutes and 27 seconds, the crowd seemed convinced that they were witnessing the return of the famous pop star.

Gryffin, who was initially excited by the unexpected performance, shared the moment on Instagram, admitting that he had no reason to doubt the lookalike at first.

"I literally thought, 'Damn, he put on a lot of weight since the album dropped,'" Gryffin recalled.

However, the illusion didn't last long. After the performance, it quickly became apparent that the person on stage was not Bieber, and the crowd realised they had been deceived.
