Bitok declared that the action would be duplicated across educational centres where teachers take advantage of their positions to advance sexual escapades with young children entrusted to their custody.
"I take this opportunity to tell the country we are not going to condone any behavior where teachers or any other stakeholders in school take advantage of our children we want to condemn with the strongest terms possible those behaviors of teachers or any characters or any staff within school community who want to take advantage of our children sexualy. We as government are saying, we are not going to tolerate any behavior of that kind. That teacher is going to be punished is going to be interdicted. We have talked to TSC and all the other stakeholders to ensure that he's arrested and it's not only Alliance Girls High School; any other school in this country we are saying that behavior must stop," Bitok said.
Bitok's sentiments followed an exposé by The Continent, one of whose journalists, an alumna of Alliance Girls High School, spotlighted an alleged pattern of inappropriate conduct against students by the longstanding teacher.

How Alliance teacher allegedly ran after school girls
The educator in question is Peter Ayiro, a History and German teacher who has been at the iconic school for over 24 years.
As demonstrated in the investigative piece, Ayiro allegedly leveraged his apparent charisma and the know-how in his disciplines to bait the unsuspecting learners.

The lengthy writing implicates Ayiro in illicit affairs with many girls who passed through his hands over the years he has been at the school.
He reportedly offered them favours, ranging from school trips to personalised gifts, according to the investigation.
In exchange would be perhaps amorous moments; the piece suggested further.
Alumnae of the school in the know of the teacher's alleged conduct contributed to the exposé.
Ayiro is currently under investigation by the school's internal channels, with Bitok calling for reinforcement from the relevant government institutions.
Why were there protests at Alliance Girls?
Meanwhile, alumnae of the school in Kikuyu, Kiambu county, gathered at the institution on Thursday, July 10, to protest the alleged misconduct of Ayiro.
They carried placards speaking strongly to the teacher's alleged behaviours, calling for his arrest and legal action.
Police were deployed to contain the peaceful protests staged at the entrance of the school.
