Kinara burst into the limelight after taking the wheel of Money Fest, George's infamous matatu. The vehicle made a splash for blatantly disobeying traffic rules, leading to Kinara's arrest at one point.
The arrest stemmed from a video showing young men seated atop the matatu while he drove it, but he was released on bail.
Did Kinara and George Ruto disagree?
However, the vehicle, which operated along the Ngong Road and Ongata Rongai routes, switched to Embakasi, marking the end of Kinara's employment with George. He then moved on to drive Moxie, a new pink and black matatu.

Rumours swirled that Kinara had fallen out with George, but he has set the record straight. In an Instagram video, the driver explained why he no longer works with the first son's matatu.
“I was trying to tell people that we never crossed paths. We respect each other, and he loves me because of the good job I did with Money Fest,” Kinara said.
Why did Kinara reject Embakasi route?
He noted that he wanted to create job opportunities for other drivers.
“On the Embakasi route, there are drivers who did not have permanent jobs and only worked as relievers. Let everyone have work because I already have a job.”
Kinara also mentioned that he is loyal to the Ongata Rongai route.
"You cannot tell me to go to Embakasi; I will not work there. I was among the pioneers with the Backstage and Kanambo family matatus. I feel comfortable in Rongai, also because of the fresh air."
Kenyans on social media reacted to the interview, with the following comments:
