Celebrity power couple Rashid Abdalla and Lulu Hassan have marked a major milestone in their marriage.

The two, Kenya's first couple to co-host prime-time news, celebrated 16 years of marriage on Thursday, July 31.
Many Kenyans view them as the model couple, having built their empire side by side.
How did Lulu meet Rashid?
Lulu said meeting Rashid felt like destiny, as it happened during one of the most difficult periods of her life.
She had just lost her mother and had returned to her former job at Radio Salaam, where Rashid had newly joined.
At the time, she had no interest in love, but Rashid gradually became her source of strength, offering support during her grief.
Their connection grew from friendship, not romance, and today they are married with three children and co-run Jiffy Pictures.
How did Lulu celebrate anniversary?
Lulu made their anniversary news public by sharing a photo of herself laughing next to her soulmate on Instagram.
The photo depicted the two wearing Arabic-themed outfits as they smiled at the camera.
Rashid even had a ceremonial sword tucked into his outfit, while Lulu wore gold jewelry.
"16 trips around the sun," she captioned the photo.
Kenyans on social media were delighted by the milestone and celebrated the couple's unbreakable bond.

The clip showed them on stage during a football tournament organised by Rashid, both dressed casually in branded t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers.
When the MC requested a Luo hit, Rashid immediately began dancing to the Ohangla tune, moving his waist and feet with ease.
Lulu watched him with a smile, blushing and shaking her head in amusement, though she didn’t join in.
