The clip sparked a wave of mixed reactions and uproar after Scovin Sanya posted it, noting that the young woman, Najma Hamis, was once their primary school head girl.

Sanya recalled how Najma had been strict during her leadership in school.

In the video, Najma was captured registering a SIM card for a customer when Sanya teased her about the job and questions why she’s selling them.

Najma laughed and playfully told him to stop recording, even threatening to do the same to him.

“Sanya, stop it! I know you’re going to post my video online,” she says.
“But I’m not the one selling lines; it’s you. I also want a new SIM card,” Sanya responds.

Did Najma allow Sanya to share her video?

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Sanya revealed that the post attracted backlash from people who misunderstood his relationship with Najma.

However, the college student clarified that Najma wasn’t offended and later consented to the video being posted.

“Najma understood. Initially, as she said in the clip, she didn’t want me to post it online, but she eventually agreed and is okay with it,” Sanya explained.
