Businesswoman Shares how Prayerful Religious Employee Stole from Her, Brought Business Down
- A businesswoman was shocked as she realised that her employee, who used to pray fervently, was the one who had been stealing from her

Nigeria: A businesswoman who used to trust her employee is stunned after she went to the young woman's home and found some of the stock that she had stolen.

According to the owner of em_boutiquebackup, who shared a video on Instagram, she built the business from pain, prayers, and empty stomachs.
"There were days I had nothing...no food, no strength… just faith. I sacrificed comfort, gave up my own needs just to keep the lights on. I watched others shine while I silently struggled, holding onto the hope that one day, my own time would come," said Em.

"Then she came in. I didn’t see her as a worker..I saw her as family. I shared my bread, my space, my secrets and told her about my stress, my fears, my tired heart and she would hug me and say everything would be fine," she added.

Did EM salvage anything for her business?
It turned out that the employee was the storm that Em was trying to survive, and the same hands she fed were the ones stealing from her. She would remove the EM tags from the clothes, then wear them or sell them. Her boss was puzzled as she would buy a lot of stock, but it would not move.
"The same mouth that prayed beside me was the one lying to my face. This is more than betrayal… but no problem, God will pay It’s the kind of pain that makes you question everything good you ever believed about people," she said.

" I went to her place with the police and was only able to recover KSh 51,000 and some clothes. But I will rise because even though she shook me, she didn’t break me and God is still with me," she said.

Man steals KSh 234m from his boss
In another story, Chekaati Naramsiha faced charges over criminal acts he allegedly committed in 2010 and 2016.
In 2010, the man of Asian descent allegedly forged the signature of his boss to effect his promotion at a printing firm where he worked. At the time, he made himself the production manager.
In a separate charge, Narasimha was also accused of using his position to steal KSh 254 million that belonged to the firm where he was employed.
