"I played every round to help the team reach the final, and today I only got 20 minutes…I don’t know," he told ESPN Argentina via BBC. "I’m going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next. This season was(expletive), losing the final and not beating anyone in the league."

According to the Daily Mail, Amorim told Garnacho to "pray" he finds another club rather than returning to training in July for pre-season. He allegedly said, "You better pray that you can find a club to sign you."

Ruben Amorim wants Man United star gone after Europa League heartbreak

@rmtanca:

"He would never get away with this in a top club. We lack enough leaders with too many mentally soft players too. Try this in Madrid, Barca, Bayern, Pool, Inter, Napoli. The locker room would handle it after the 1st incident."

@jamescarey1967:

"Garnachos ego is way bigger than his achievements, we the Utd fans are partially to blame too, we replaced viva Ronaldo with viva Garnacho & over hyped him, he believed the hype."

@KINGRabbi01:

"You said it all. I love Garnacho and wanted him to stay but with this attitude he really has to go."
