Kakamega County Assembly Advertises Permanent Jobs for Accountants, Receptionists and Other Roles

The Kakamega County Assembly Service Board asked interested and suitable candidates to submit their applications through email clerk@kakamega-assembly.go.ke or hand-deliver them to its offices adjacent to the Kakamega Law Courts.

It warned job seekers against paying any fees, noting that it is an equal opportunity employer.

"Applications should indicate the position applied for and be addressed to the secretary, County Assembly Service Board, P.O. Box 1470-50100, Kakamega.
All qualified persons are encouraged to apply. The county assembly does not use agents nor charge any fee at any stage of the recruitment process. Canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification," it stated.

He told TUKO.co.ke that a job seeker should highlight their key skills and competencies at the top of their CV to quickly catch recruiters' attention.

"Use bullet points, simple icons, and clean formatting to make your CV easy to read. Before you send out your CV, make sure it is skill-based, has quantifiable achievements, and is clean and simple," he recommended.
