The Kipchimchim Group's quickly expanding retail chain, Kipchimatt Supermarket, has advertised job openings at its Nakuru branch, which is set to open.

In an advertisement on its Facebook page on Thursday, August 7, the retailer, which boasts over 13 chains, announced several open positions for job seekers.
It asked interested individuals to submit their applications through the respective email by Friday, August 15.
"Send your application and CV to recruitment@kipchimatt.co.ke. The recruitment deadline is Friday, August 15. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted," it stated.
Which jobs did Kipchimatt Supermarket declare?
The vacancies are cashiers, shelf attendants, supervisors, cleaners and a retail manager.
1. Retail manager
As the store's general leader, the retail manager will be in charge of overseeing all daily activities and making sure the Nakuru branch reaches performance goals while providing outstanding customer service.
He or she will oversee and guide all department heads, make sure performance standards are fulfilled, respond quickly to customer issues, and guarantee high satisfaction levels.
2. Cashiers
Roles:
- Accept cash, mobile money, or credit card payments, and give precise change.
- Greet clients, answer their questions and thank them.
- Work accurately while effectively scanning, packaging, and labelling things.
- Ensure that their workstations are tidy and orderly.
- Check the products' prices, any reductions, and any promotional offers.

3. Shelf attendants
Duties:
- Unpack inventory and add fresh goods to shelves.
- Make sure the product placement is orderly, clean, and compliant with visual merchandising guidelines.
- Clean the shelves and make sure that any damaged or expired goods are taken out right away.
- Regularly check and update product price tags to reflect the most recent prices.
- Help clients find products and give them basic product information.
4. Supervisors
Roles:
- Assign employees daily responsibilities and make sure they are completed on time.
- Keep an eye on employee attendance, behaviour, and general output.
- Assist and mentor team members in their many responsibilities.
- Organise shelf replenishment and keep an eye on product positioning.
- Make sure that consistently high-quality customer service is provided.
5. Cleaners
Duties:
- Clean the aisles, restrooms, staff rooms, and checkout zones of the supermarket.
- Regularly sweep, mop, and polish floors as necessary.
- Empty trash cans and hygienically dispose of waste.
- Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other items.
- Notify management of any equipment faults, damages, or maintenance concerns.
Who founded Kipchimchim Supermarket?
Samwel Ng'etich was a Class Three dropout who was the brains behind the Kipchimchim Group.
Nge'tich's lack of formal education did not deter him from succeeding in business.
He was the chairman of Kipchimchim Group of Companies until his death on August 25, 2022.
